We made another trip to get away for awhile.

There aren't a whole lot of people out as it gets colder.

Makes for a peaceful view at the lake.

So Kylee finally wants to cut that hair around his ears.

It was hard to keep him still.

So we didn't get a lot cut.

Halloween

We attended two party's for Halloween.

One was a block party for all to attend.

Ashton's friend showed up.

There was a cart ride that Ashton rode by herself.

The other party was trunk-or-treat

put on by the wards in our building.

Kylee was going with a Wizard of Oz theme.

I just go along to make them cute ;-)

One Step At A Time

Since it has been awhile since we posted...

I will post a little at a time to catch up. Here it goes...

At the end of September Tim & Ashton went to the

ward campout to give Kylee & Nixon some space.

You can't expect her to stay clean on a campout can you?

I know... I know...

Just so all of you know... We are still alive... I have two sisters who are bugging me to update and I am getting to it SOON! Since we haven't updated since beginning of Sept. we might not have anyone look at our blog anymore. Oh well... I guess we will find out who our true friends are after this long silence.

Our Bigger Family

So our family has been getting along fine with Nixon.

Ashton has been smothering him with lots of love.

As most of you know Ashton has lots of energy.

She was running around at my parents house

with a signed baseball in a case. She tripped

and landed on it with her head. As you can see

the results were pretty brutal.

Like most kids, Ashton takes a while to settle

down when it is nap time. So she just plays in

her room until she eventually falls asleep.

This is where we found her one day.

It is weird, but we'll find Ashton asleep

with her eyes half shut. It's freaky sometimes.

So I bought an Xbox a few weeks ago and

since Ashton likes to be so involved with

Nixon and keep him awake...

I've taught her how to play Super Mario Bro's

to keep her occupied

Our New Joy

As most of you know... Kylee had her baby last week.
Our original due date was August 21, 2008,
but Ashton was such a big baby when she came
(9 lbs. & 9 oz.) that we decided to induce 2 weeks early.
Ever since we found out the due date,
Kylee was hoping for the 8-8-08 birthday for Nixon.

DOB: August 8, 2008
Weight: 8 lbs. 9 oz.
